When sight-saving surgery is required, we coordinate urgent hospital admission and work closely with the anaesthetic and operating theatre team. Our extensive experience in retinal detachment surgery has helped save the sight of many patients.
Advancing Care for Macular Degeneration
Macular degeneration is one of the most common causes of significant vision loss in older Australians. Treatment has changed considerably over recent years, and we believe patients should have access to the most appropriate and up-to-date treatment available.
We provide comprehensive assessment and ongoing management of macular degeneration. Treatments for the late, neovascular wet type of macular degeneration include intravitreal anti-VEGF therapies which help preserve vision. Additionally, there are new treatment options available for geographic atrophy, an advanced form of dry macular degeneration.

Premium Cataract Surgery
Cataract surgery has evolved significantly, with modern techniques allowing cataracts to be removed through a very small incision and replaced with an artificial intraocular lens. Premium intraocular lens technology has also expanded the options to meet the patient’s visual needs.

Conveniently situated on Wickham Terrace in Brisbane, we accept referrals from across Queensland and New South Wales. Getting to us is easy: we are just minutes from Central Station, with on-site multi-level parking available through Cornerstone Parking. Brisbane City Council’s Spring Hill Loop buses also stop directly outside our centre.
