REFERRING YOUR PATIENT TO CITY EYE CENTRE

Information for GPs, Optometrists and Medical Specialists

Dr Lawrence Lee and the team at City Eye Centre recognize the importance of multi-disciplinary management and collaborative care. We are dedicated to providing your patient with exceptional ophthalmic care.

Urgent Referrals

If your referral is urgent, please call us on (07) 3831 6888 during our practice hours for same day referral. We will do our best to prioritize your patient and fit the patient in as soon as possible. Our consulting hours are 8am – 4pm Tuesdays to Thursdays.

Afterhours Urgent Referrals

If you need to refer an emergency patient outside of the above consulting hours to Dr Lawrence Lee, please contact the Eye Registrar at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital on (07) 3646 8111. Alternatively, please contact the St Andrew’s Emergency Centre on (07) 3834 4455. The Eye Registrar or the St Andrew’s Hospital emergency staff will make initial assessments and contact Dr Lee accordingly.
